R-410A is a near-azeotropic HFC blend of difluoromethane (R-32) and pentafluoroethane (R-125) in equal parts. It is the service refrigerant for the large installed base of residential and light-commercial split systems, packaged units, and heat pumps built for high-pressure operation.
Charge R-410A as a liquid from an upright cylinder so the blend keeps its composition. System pressures run considerably higher than R-22, so use gauges, hoses, and recovery equipment rated for R-410A service.

Sold to certified professionals. United States federal rules require EPA Section 608 certification to purchase and handle regulated refrigerant (Section 609 for motor vehicle air conditioning). Venting refrigerant to the atmosphere is prohibited; recover it with approved equipment. Confirm the refrigerant against the equipment nameplate before charging — refrigerants are not interchangeable, and the wrong charge can damage equipment and void its warranty.
Cylinders ship non-refillable and single-use. Do not refill, heat above 125 °F (52 °C), or transport a cylinder outside its upright, secured position.
